AHFAS CHIEF JERRY PANDOLFO HONORED BY PSE&G WITH RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE IN VOLUNTEERISM AWARD
AHFAS Chief Jerry Pandolfo has been honored by PSE&G with the company’s Recognizing Excellence in Volunteerism Award.
Pandolfo received the honor Oct. 15, 2015 at a luncheon honoring company’s top volunteers. Along with the Pandolfo’s award comes a generous $10,000 grant to the AHFAS, which will be used to purchase supplies, training and equipment that will go directly to benefit the community.

The long-time PSEG employee was cited for his EMS work in Atlantic Highlands, and around the state, during such events as the aftermath of Supertstorm Sandy. Indeed, after the devastating storm hit New Jersey, Pandolfo used personal vacation time so he could help at an emergency care center to help those hurt in the storm.
During his time with the AHFAS, Pandolfo has served in many positions. He’s been Chief in 2014 and 2015, he’s served as president, and he’s responded to upward of 200 calls a year. As a former executive with the 11th District of the New Jersey State First Aid Council, Pandolfo has helped influence policies and procedures that impact volunteers throughout the state. As a mem

Locally, he launched a blood drive resulting in much needed donations that helped others and he’s taught free CPR class to countless area residents, who then use those skills to make the community stronger.
He’s done all of this while being a devoted husband and father of two children.
